Hello! My name is Ashleigh, and I’m in Year 11! My birthday is on the 27th of December, and I’m turning 17 this year! This blog is my IB Theatre Journal, which is part of my assessment for Theatre. My other IB subjects are HL English and Geography, and SL Maths Studies, German Ab Initio and Biology.
I’m really not sure what I want to do as a future career, but I’m hoping to do a business degree and get into the aviation industry. My favourite music is UK Grime and RnB and my favourite food is Chinese food!
If there’s anything else you want to know, feel free to ask me!
Hi there,
I’m an Aussie puppet maker and just happened across your site from a google search on bunraku. I just wanted to say that it’s great seeing a student discussing what they learn about theatre, and more importantly an Aussie talking about it! If you haven’t, you may want to promote your blog on http://www.theatre.asn.au where other young theatre people might find it and learn from it.
Also, I made a traditional bunraku puppet last year, which you can read about on my site (on the blog page, under the ‘UNIMA 2008′ category), if you’re interested.
Good luck with your studies!

Hey
My name is Caitlyn,
I’m doing Year 11 Theatre Arts too for my IB. I’m the only one at my campus doing the course, so am finding it really hard to find where I should be.
I went and saw Tartuffe as well, and am currently in the process of writing a critical, theatre review.
How are you finding the course?
My teacher hasn’t quite explained the option A and B thing…
Hope your loving it..
I know i am.. it’s the only subject i actually like in my IB
Cheers,
Caitlyn
